After carrying out a thorough diagnostic investigation, they accurately identified the root cause as a faulty brake booster pressure sensor. The team explained the issue clearly, provided a fair quote, and completed the repair professionally. Since the sensor replacement, all warning messages have disappeared and the vehicle has been driving perfectly. “I can’t recommend Robbie’s Garage highly enough. On my way to work my check engine light came on, the car started stuttering when accelerating, and there was a strong smell of fuel — not exactly a stress-free start to the day. Despite being very busy, Robbie’s still managed to fit me in, and booking was really easy thanks to their excellent WhatsApp communication. The two women on the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helpful, which instantly put me at ease. Typical Sod’s Law, when they tested the car it didn’t show the same issues I experienced, so they couldn’t diagnose or fix the fault. However, they still kept the car for two days, gave it a thorough check over, and didn’t want to charge me a penny — even though I was more than happy to pay. They explained the car was driving like a “dream” but reassured me that if the issue happens again, I should bring it straight back in. I’ll definitely be returning if the problem reappears (fingers crossed I won’t need to!), and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
